On June 1st at 5pm the City of Orange Beach will discuss Larry Wireman’s proposal for opening Outcast Charters on the vacant water front land between Cobalt and Caribe.

Griffin Powell, Planner II, explained that the proposed amendment is a request for a minor modification to the Caribe Planned Unit Development to convert 18 existing boat slips at the marina from private residential use to commercial use for the purpose of operating a charter fishing and rental business from the site. The site plan modifications include a gravel parking area with 125 spaces and a 1,200 sf dock store / office building.
