On Tuesday June 15th at 5:00pm the City of Orange Beach will hold the weekly City Council Meeting at City Council Chambers. On the agenda to discuss will be the proposed amendment to ordinance No. 172 Zoning Ordinance, case No. 504 -PUDA-10 Outcast Charter, Caribe PUD Major Modification.
Request for Major Modification to Caribe PUD to conver 18 boat slips from private to commercial uses to contain Outcast Charter Docks; Owner: Larry Wireman, Caribe Resort.
Up to:
-Ten (10) 3-person Sea Doos
-Two (2) 12-person pontoon boats
-Six (6) 6-person charter boats
-Three (3) 20 -person charter boats
Total 21 Vessels
125 parking spots (gravel)
1200 sq foot Charter Outcast building 30’x40′
Maintain option to build 312 unit condominum tower.
As a note, this is the current gravel parking area between Cobalt and Caribe B tower. This permit does not include the distribution or sale of fuels.
The developer sees this as another valuable amenity to the resort. The slips used will be to the west of the current gate and no users of these slips will be permitted to access Caribe property unless they are an owner or owners guest. No parking will be allowed at the current towers and no boats for Outcast Charters will be docked behind Caribe Resort towers B, C, D.
